The Problem

There are more than 86 millions of migrants in Europe. Many of these groups are unable to access, or hindered in accessing, the private rental housing sector (PRS) due to financial barriers. This lack of access to the PRS can result in prolonged social and financial integration of these groups as well as leading to issues of homelessness and mental health deterioration.

The solution

Provision of a home is such a critical factor in successful integration of migrants and refugees. Home gives a sense of safety, belonging and community. A high proportion of migrants are addressing problems in housing inclusion within their journey; largely related to labour independence, but also to discrimination. Migrasure offers migrant-friendly innovative insurance products and support services, targeted at solving these housing barriers, but with alternative distribution partnerships to enable financial inclusion of refugees.

After 6 months of proposition development, prototyping and testing, as well as partnerships pipeline construction and investment management, Migrasure has received the funding to launch a 9 months MVP to build the product and make it operational, serving first customers through live distribution channels, aiming to support the first out of 14 million migrants in Germany and with a long-term vision of scaling in other European markets.
